Why a Comic?
I have drawn horses for as long as I can remember.
Other children would tease me in school because horses littered the margins of my school notebooks and I rarely drew anything else.
So when I tried to write Seeds of Dawn as a novel and decided it needed a more visual format, I decided a comic would be a better medium.
Of course, there are lots of hurdles with that! While many characters are horses, many characters are also humanoids. I hadn’t practiced humans much, nor do I know much about comics, but I decided to give it a try.
I’m documenting what I do as I go so that others can learn as I learn. I also want others to see that drawing skills do improve with practice.
